BioShock is a first-person shooter, action and role-playing video game developed by Irrational Games for the Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3.
The game tells the story of Jack, an airplane crash survivor, who finds himself stranded in the middle of the north Atlantic Ocean. He makes his way to a crumbling lighthouse, which leads him deep into the ocean to the city of Rapture. What was once a utopia promising freedom from government to a social elite is now filled with corpses and lunatic inhabitants, high on a mysterious substance called ADAM. Jack must somehow escape from the dying city and uncover the truth behind Rapture's demise.
