Secret Diary of a Call Girl

Showtime's Secret Diary of a Call Girl, in which Piper stars as the escort Belle, is based on the blog Belle de Jour. It is imported from Britain's ITV2 network, and has already been picked up for a third season on ITV.

Battle With Anorexia

In her autobiography Growing Pains, Piper detailed her battle with anorexia at the age of 16. She reported that she took laxatives, and even tried to eat tissues to control her hunger. According to Piper, she became briefly anorexic again when her marriage broke up, but has since recovered from the disorder.
