Bill Hayward
Bill Hayward was an entertainment lawyer, producer, and the son of
Margaret Sullavan and Leland Hayward. He was an associate producer of
Easy Rider in 1969. In 1980 he produced
Haywire, a TV Movie based on a book by his sister
Brooke, which chronicled the problems in his family. On March 9, 2008
Hayward committed suicide by shooting himself in the heart.
Hayward had never fully recovered from a serious accident on his
Harley-Davidson motorcycle in 2003.
