Plot
Malcolm Turner (Martin Lawrence) must protect a single mother Sherry (Nia Long) and her son Trent (Jascha Washington). Sherry's ex boyfriend escaped from prison and is expected to go to her. Turner disguises himself as a large woman named Hattie Mae Pierce, also known as "Big Mama", and keeps a close watch on the family.
