Beloit College Mindset List
On August 19, 2008, Beloit College published its annual "Mindset List," a compilation of cultural milestones of the last 18 years, formulated as rhetorical and comic expressions.1 The goal of the Beloit College Mindset List is to bridge the generation gap between the new students and their instructors, and to fill in the cultural blanks of both parties.1 The list is announced before the fall semester and serves as a traditional communication guideline for many higher education institutions across the United States.1
