Beibei the Fish

Beibei the Fish is one of the Fuwa, the five mascots for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She represents the traditional element of Water. The artistic style of her headdress is influenced by the appearance of water in traditional Chinese art.¹ She represents the blue Olympic Ring, and is the mascot of aquatic sports.
