Achievement Tips

NOTE: The difficulty achievements do not stack. You have to play through the entire campaign on hard and on normal to get all the level achievements.
If you followed the walkthrough, you should have finished the majority of the single player achievements. Many of the achievements, like Home Wrecker or The Hypochondriac, come naturally just by finishing the campaign. Here are some tips for a few of the tougher achievements:
  1. Staying Alive: The easiest mission to get this achievement on is Air Force One. Play on easy and continually land to fix the chopper anytime it gets too low. Also try to use the health stick after any bullet hits you.
  2. On Top of The World: I mentioned this in the walkthrough, but head to the top of the monastery via the wooden staircase after reuniting with B Company in the mission Rescue the Squad.
  3. One In a Million: Do this when the chopper attacks you in the mission Crash and Grab. Save your laser designator and use it on the chopper from the comfort of the houses below. It may take several attempts to actually hit the chopper.
  4. Dog owner!, Get the dog!: You collect dog tags by knifing another player in a multiplayer match. Each one has to be unique, so no boosting with a friend on this one.
  5. Be the best: If you are having trouble making number 1 in a match, try a support character. Healing and repairing items earn more points.
  6. General of the Army: This rank is achieved when a player gets 37,000 experience points.
  7. Beans Bullets Bandages: You are looking at about 150 to 200 hours of multiplayer to get this achievement, less perhaps if you boost it.
