In a bizarre twist, with each death of your character, you uncover more of the game's story. In addition to amnesia, your character is mute and continually referred to as flawed by those around him.

1. Angelic Rifle: annihilates any meta-being with one shot
2. Sword: melee weapon, some of which possess enhanced attributes and added effects
3. Coat: protective gear
4. Torturer: comes in different types with different effects; can be combined
5. Parasite: fuses with the protagonist, equipment, or another parasite for various effects
6. Wings: grants special abilities
7. Flesh: restores HP; rotten flesh causes stomachaches
