Baby Clothes are clothing for both boys and girls ages one to twenty four months. Although retailers like Hanna Andersson and Gymboree are still popular, there is a growing trend for trendy and hip styles for babies.

Sizing

Sizing is based on the age of the baby. In most cases there will be an age range on an outfit such as a onesie. In this case, always buy a bit larger. Because babies grow rapidly you should add a size or two and also be aware that certain baby soft fabrics can shrink easily due to their delicate nature.

Go Organic

Because clothing is chemical dependent, with cotton full of pesticides and insecticides, it may be wise that your baby's first clothes are chemical and pesticide free. Organic baby clothes are becoming a more popular trend with tees made from organic cotton farms, sleepwear made of bamboo, and booties made from hemp.
