The 2007 Tournament
The BMW Championship was a replacement for the Western Open which had been played since 1899. The BMW Championship was open to the 70 FedEx Cup points leaders. The top 30 then advanced to The Tour Championship to determine the FedEx Cup Champion. The tournament is rotated between three country clubs.2 Tiger Woods won the 2007 BMW Championship with a total score of 262 and was 22 under par.1
