Originally a French animated film, released in 2006 under the title Azur et Asmar, it now is available as an English version ready for a theater premiere in the United States. The English film title is Azur and Asmar: The Princes' Quest and centers around two young boys who are raised together but are torn apart.¹

Film Synopsis

Written and animated as a mystical fairy tale, the film follows two childhood friends as they are raised from birth by the same nanny.¹ However, in a twist of fate and misunderstanding, they are separated and meet each other years later. Now older, they undergo a journey to release a fairy that is imprisoned.¹
