The Atlanta Dream are a professional basketball team in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team was founded in 2007 and began play in the 2008 regular season. The team is owned by real estate mogul J. Ronald Terwilliger. The Dream plays its home games at Phillips Arena, where the NBA's Atlanta Hawks and NHL's Atlanta Thrashers play.
