Guide Note

The Assassin's Creed story has an unexpected sci-fi twist, which is revealed at the beginning of the game (spoilers to follow). There are two storylines: one that follows Altair and the other that follows Desmond Miles, Altair's future descendent. Much of the game focuses on Altair and is set in 1911. The sci-fi element deals with the idea of genetic memory.
