The Crime
- On March 16, 2008, Long Beach gang members Jarrell Kelly and Damon Hill, allegedly robbed Giovanni Boyd and Dwayne Washington at gunpoint in an Anaheim Denny's. Boyd and Washington's friend, Armand Jones, entered the restroom and was also robbed. Hill, Kelly and a small group that was with them allegedly ran through the restaurant to the parking lot and Jones chased after them. Once outside, Hill and Kelly allegedly shot Jones in the chest and also shot another victim in the head. Jones staggered back inside the restaurant and died in the doorway. The other victim survived.1
