Anthony Rusciano
Anthony Rusciano, an Orange County, Florida, deputy, was fired after allegedly lying about the nature of his relationship with Casey Anthony.1 Rusciano claimed that he met the mother of the missing Caylee Anthony only once, during a party.2 Evidence found on the woman's computer revealed that the two met more than once, and possibly dated. Orange County authorities added that the man provided untruthful and incomplete answers during questioning, and eventually confessed to lying. His dismissal came in effect on August 22, 2008.1
