Anthony J. Russo
Anthony J. Russo was an instrumental figure in leaking a set of documents called the Pentagon Papers, a set of classified documents which detailed the history of the Vietnam War. Russo was charged with espionage and treason, but the case was eventually dismissed. Russo died on August 6, 2008, at the age of 71. His death was announced by long-time friend Daniel Ellsberg on an antiwar blog.
