Anna Paquin is an Academy Award-winning and Emmy-nominated actress. Born in Canada in 1982, she moved to New Zealand at a young age. Paquin made her film debut with The Piano in 1993, a performance that earned her an Academy Award at the age of 11. She was the second-youngest to win the award.1 2
In 2000, Paquin landed the role of Rogue in the X-Men film franchise. She has also appeared in Almost Famous, Finding Forrester, 25th Hour, She's All That and Amistad.2
Paquin starred as Sookie Stackhouse in the 2008 HBO series True Blood. Stackhouse, a waitress with telepathic powers, falls in love with a vampire in a small Louisiana town.3 4
