Angie Everhart is an actress and former model who once appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was discovered by a local modeling agency after they saw pictures taken by her mother when she was 15 years old. Within a year she was featured on the covers of top level fashion magazines like ELLE and Glamour. At age 19 Everhart suffered a severe back injury while riding a horse that almost ended her career, she was able to make a complete recovery though. She began appearing in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues in 1995 and posed nude for Playboy Magazine in 2000.
