Andrew Bird
Andrew Bird is a musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who specializes in orchestral pop compositions. In 2006, Bird signed a contract with Fat Possum Records. His latest album, Armchair Apocrypha was released in March of 2007. Several of his songs have been licensed by Marriot for use in commercials.

Early Life
Bird was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 11, 1973. He attended Northwestern University and graduated with a B.A. in 1996. He also released his first album, Music of Hair, the same year. Bird was known for playing the violin in college, a practice he continued into his musical career.
