Andrea Pininfarina
August 7, 2008: Andrea Pininfarina, head of one of the world's most respected car design firms, was struck and killed by a motorist while riding his Vespa scooter in Turin, Italy. He was the CEO of Pininfarina S.p.A., a company begun by his grandfather that has been involved in the design and manufacture of sports and luxury cars since its founding in 1930.
