An American Carol Reviews
Filled with political and humorous satire, An American Carol follows the experience of a liberal documentary filmmaker as he is visited by patriotic figures of the past. It is a direct satire of the classic film story A Christmas Carol and the films of Michael Moore.
Filmmaker David Zucker has expressed that the movie is less geared towards current events and more towards "political ideology".1 Indeed reviewers have responded with political criticism. National Review Online writes that it "presses to the Left" and that it may agitate the already electric political atmosphere.2
