American Idol Kiss

Guide Note

On March 19, 2008, American Idol judge Simon Cowell mentioned the possibility of doing a repeat of the kiss that he and Paula Abdul shared during an episode in the second season of American Idol.

The original kiss happened after Cowell and Abdul had a disagreement over his negative comments and general attitude towards the contestants. The fight occurred on air, and resulted in Abdul walking off the set. The next week, the two literally kissed and made up during a prerecorded sketch.
