During a radio interview, Olympic gold medalist Amanda Beard emphatically denied rumors of a romantic relationship with Michael Phelps. While elaborating, Beard made what some are calling inappropriate comments. Responding to the idea of a relationship between the two, Beard stated on 93.7 KRQ in Tucson's Johnjay and Rich in the Morning show, "Eww, that's nasty!" The tone of the show was humorous and Amanda Beard has since apologized for her statements.1
