Alec Maga is an American actor, comedian and writer. He has appeared on numerous television shows including: Seinfeld, Dharma and Greg, and Alias. In 2007 Mapa appeared on Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty.

While is roles in films are not as extensive, he has been active in film since 1998 with the movie Bright Lights, Big City. Additionally, Mapa has had roles in Who's Your Daddy?, Connie and Carly, and the 2008 feature Don't Mess With Zohan.

Mapa also hosts the Logo transgender dating reality show Transamerican Love Story. The program chronicles Calpernia Addams search for love.
