Rangers are one of the classes in Age of Conan and are mostly known for being equipped with a bow and arrow. Rangers can shoot their weapons in one of two ways: through first-person crosshair view or by third-person cone view. There's been no universal preference either way, and it's recommended by the developers that players try out both schemes to determine which one for them is better.

Shooting techniques

First person: The player will have a crosshair on the screen. They can manually aim and shoot at the enemy. Players can shoot farther in first-person rather than third person.

Third person: The player will have a cone-like target on the screen. Everything on the cone is a target, and it automatically adjusts to different targets depending on if a player changes direction during his or her aim. The cone can be turned off.
