Music Career
Aesop Rock, real name Ian Bavitz, produced and recorded his first two albums while working during the day as a waiter. In 2000, he released his debut on the label Mush, Float with the help of producer Blockhead, with whom he would continue to collaborate on all his future recordings.
After the success of Float, Rock was signed to the label Definitive Jux, which released his next three records: 2001's Labor Days, 2003's Bazooka Tooth and 2007's None Shall Pass.
