A Bronx Tale is 1993 movie set in the Bronx during the 1960s. A boy named "Calogero", played by Lillo Brancato Jr., is torn between his loyalty to his hard working, blue collar father and a flashy crime boss who tempts him with the mafia lifestyle. The film was Robert DeNiro's directorial debut. He played the role of Cologero's father, "Lorenzo Anello". Chazz Palminteri played "Sonny" the gangster. Palminteri also wrote the script for the film.
