90 Day Jane

In February of 2008, a 24-year-old woman calling herself "90 Day Jane" wrote on her blog of the same name that she was planning to kill herself in ninety days.

On February 12, 2008, shortly before the blog was taken down, 90 Day Jane confirmed that her impending suicide was a hoax and stated that the point of the blog was to pay tribute to Christine Chubbuck, a television reporter who committed suicide on the air in 1974.Radar Online: Suicide Site Purveyor 90 Day Jane A Living, Breathing Hoax (February 13, 2008)
