  • 7 Year Bitch was one of the first popular female Punk Rock bands to emerge from the 1990s Grunge music scene in Seattle. The band broke up following the heroin overdose of guitarist Stefanie Sargent and the murder of friend Mia Zapata of the band The Gits. This tragic event led to the formation of: Home Alive, an anti-violence non profit organization in Seattle, Washington.
