They have also sold the Big Gulp since 1980, which is a fountain soda drink 32 oz or larger. The original hours for the first 7-Eleven stores were from 7 am to 11 pm, which led to the name that was adopted in 1946. Now most 7-Eleven store are open 24 hours a day. In the summer of 2007, they converted some of their locations into Kwik-E-Marts as a promotion for The Simpsons Movie
