6 Billion Others

Guide Note: 6 Billion Others was hailed by Variety as "a standout" at the documentary screening event Mip Doc. The documentary focuses on people from all over the world, who have been filmed giving their ideas on universal questions such as, "What is the meaning of life?" and "What is happiness?" More than 6,000 interviews have taken place and have been translated into this project. The purpose is to show the similarities in the human race despite the differences in language, race, nationalities and heritage. Small portions of the interviews will be shown on international television and on airlines. The creative mind behind this project is French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand. It is sponsored by the French bank BNP Paribas.
