500 Days of Summer Synopsis
- (500) Days of Summer tells the "romantic" tale of the break-up of Tom, played by Joseph Gordon Levitt, and Summer, played by Zooey Deschanel. The two co-workers enjoy a relationship together, but after 500 days, Summer decides to abruptly break up with Tom. The excuse that Summer gives is that she has always felt and has continued to maintain that she doesn't believe in "true love". Tom sets out to examine the past five hundred days to possibly figure out the deeper cause for the end of their relationship and to see if there is possibly a way to change the feelings of the elusive Summer.
