  • Plot

Adam Sandler plays Henry Roth, a veterinarian who is quite the ladies man, romancing vacationing women as they visit Hawaii. One morning he finds himself in an inland cafe, where he meets Lucy Whitmore, played by Drew Barrymore. The two hit it off and plan to meet the next day at the cafe for breakfast. Henry returns the following morning to learn that Lucy has no memory of ever meeting him. Lucy lost her short term memory in an auto accident more than a year earlier and wakes up thinking everyday is the same day. Henry tries everyday to reconnect with Lucy, much to the displeasure of her father and brother, who have devoted their lives to supporting Lucy's condition.
