About the Game

50 Cent Blood in the Sand is the sequel to 50 Cent: Bulletproof. 50 Cent and his group, G-Unit, have just performed a sold-out concert in the Middle East, but the promoter isn't paying up because he just got robbed by guerillas. In lieu of payment, he gives "Fiddy" a diamond-encrusted skull, which promptly gets stolen. Now 50 Cent is on a quest to recover his bling.
50 Cent and the G-Unit have provided plenty of curse-ridden voice acting to flavor the gameplay. And there are 42 music tracks, some of them exclusively recorded by 50 Cent for the game. The game features an online-only two-player co-op mode, which allows the second player to take on the role of Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks or DJ Whoo Kid. Reviews of 50 Cent Blood on the Sand have given the game an average rating of 7/10. Reviewers point out that Swordfish Studios clearly worked hard to correct any of the shortcomings of Bulletproof. Although the story is weak and somewhat flimsy, the key gameplay elements of the game—shooting things up, blowing things up, cursing things up—are strong and make it a blast to play. The graphics have been praised, as well as the control system, the soundtrack and the point system that rewards players for pulling off fancy explosions.
