3rd Graders Plot Teacher Attack

Categories: News | Current Events
  • A group of nine third grade children planned an attack on their teacher in a Georgia elementary school. The children, all between the ages of eight and nine years old, were found to have brought duct tape, a broken knife; handcuffs; ribbon; a paperweight, and other items with the intent of attacking their teacher. School officials contacted the police on Friday, March 31, 2008, after a student told a teacher that a girl brought a weapon to the school. The police chief stated that the children had planned that one child would draw the shades, so that no one could see in, another would clean up after the attack. The third grade students are under the age of 13 and cannot be charged criminally, but are facing discipline from the school.
