Two users of the iPhone 3G have sued the company Apple for user problems such as dropped calls and difficulties with the 3G network since the cell phone came out in July 2008. On August 19, Jessica Smith of Birmingham, Alabama, sued Apple, claiming the phone is much slower than advertised and often drops calls.ABC News: Apple Hit With 3G iPhone Lawsuit (August 20, 2008) William Gillis. former executive of the company Chicken of the Sea, also sued Apple and carrier AT&T in August 2008.
