3ds Max (previously called 3D Studio Max) is software used for modeling, rendering and animation of three-dimensional designs.Autodesk: Autodesk Inc It has been used by TV studios, architectural designers, advertising agencies, and design visualization specialists. Many top-selling and award-winning games, films and videos have been created with 3ds Max.

Software: The 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Autodesk 3D Max are supported on Microsoft Windows XP and Vista.

Hardware: At a minimum, Intel Pentium IV or AMD Athlon XP, 512 MB RAM, 500MB swap space (2GB recommended) and DVD-ROM drive.

3ds Max 2009 software requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or higher browser and DirectX 9.0c
