3G iPhone
Guide Note: The 3G iPhone from Apple is expected to be released in 2008 with improved Internet connectivity speed in comparison over the previous model. The release is dependent upon developing a battery capable of powering the unit for longer than 5 hours, as the faster network speed drains the life of the battery.
It was reported in late March of 2008 that Apple contracted Hon Hai, a Taiwanese electronics manufacturer, to build what a secret source called "more advanced iPhones." Although a release date has not yet been confirmed, it is expected to hit the shelves sometime during the fourth quarter of 2008.
