Synopsis
30 Days of Night tells the story of the town of Barrow, Alaska, during a vampire attack at the height of winter when the sun does not rise for thirty days. There are several sequels and spin-offs, including Dark Days, 30 Days of Night: Return to Barrow, 30 Days of Night: Bloodsucker Tales, 30 Days of Night: Dead Space and others. Most books reveal the vampires' presence in other parts of the world and expand upon their threat to mankind. -
Movie Adaptation
30 Days of Night was released as a feature film in October of 2007. The film was produced by Sam Raimi, directed by David Slade, and stars Josh Hartnett and Melissa George. -
