The 2011 Chevrolet Volt is a plug-in hybrid car developed by General Motors. The Volt is said to drive 40 miles on a single electric charge before reverting to a gas tank that features an increased fuel efficiency. The 2011 Chevrolet Volt will use lithium-ion battery to achieve its forty mile per charge driving range.
