The 2011 Chevrolet Volt is a plug-in hybrid car developed by General Motors. The Volt is said to drive 40 miles on a single electric charge before reverting to a gas tank that features an increased fuel efficiency. The 2011 Chevrolet Volt will use lithium-ion battery to achieve its forty mile per charge driving range. Though an official announcement has yet to be made, Automobile Magazine suggests that General Motors will choose battery manufacturer LG Chem to supply the lithium-ion batteries for the 2011 Chevrolet Volt.Automobile Magazine: LG Chem May Supply Batteries...
