The 16th week of the 2010 National Football League season is the final week in which experts will predict games played over a span from Thursday to Monday when 16 games take place between December 23, 2010, and December 27, 2010. All 16 teams are in action during week 16 2010 with many teams continuing their final push towards the 2010-11 NFL Playoffs.c As of week 15, only four teams, the New England Patriots, Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons, have secured spots in the playoffs.c 

In notable games, week 16 opens on Thursday, December 23, 2010, with the 10-4 Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the 2-12 Carolina Panthers at 8:20 p.m. EST. Action continues on Christmas Day when the 5-9 Dallas Cowboys visit the 4-10 Arizona Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. EST. The Thursday and Saturday night games air on the NFL Network. On Sunday night, the 5-8 Minnesota Vikings head out on the road to play against the 10-4 Philadelphia Eagles at 8:20 p.m. EST on NBC.
