Grammy performances showcase celebrity stars nominated for awards. This year’s performers are no stranger to the Grammy performance stage. Taylor Swift’s 2010 performance marks a return to the stage for a second year as she performed in 2009 in a duet with Miley Cyrus. At the 2010 Grammys she performs with Stevie Nicks in what becomes controversial and known as an awful performance for the young star.
Beyonce joined Tina Turner for a duet performance at the 50th Grammy awards but performed solo for the 2010 performances. Both The Black Eyed Peas and Maxwell performed at the Grammy Nominations. - Lady Gaga opened the show with her hit single "Poker Face." Elton John joined her on stage and together they sang "Speechless" before they broke into John's hit single, "Your Song".
- Beyonce sings "If I Were A Boy" and Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know."
- Pink sings "Glitter in the Air" before she stripped off her robe and performed an acrobatic act in the air above the crowd dressed in ribbons.
- The Black Eyed Peas perform a remix of their popular hits "Imma Be" and "I Gotta Feeling."
- Country music singers Lady Antebellum perform their hit song "Need You Now"."
- Jamie Foxx performed his single "Blame It" with a surprise appearance from TPain and guitarist Slash.
- Zac Brown Band performed "Amazing Grace" before Leon Russell joins them in their hit single "Chicken Fried." Both are accompanied by Sugarlands guitarist Kristian Bush.
- Taylor Swift performed her new hit "Today Was a Fairytale." Special surprise guest Stevie Nicks joined her onstage and they sang Nicks hit "Rhiannon" and Swift's "You Belong With Me."
- Bon Jovi performed his hit song "We Weren't Born To Follow" and afterward is joined on the stage by Jennifer Nettles, from Sugarland for a performance of their duet "Who Says You Can't Go Home." He ends his performance with his hit single "Living on a Prayer."
- Mary J. Blige and pop tenor Andrea Bocelli perform "Bridge Over Troubled Water", a version recorded for sale in iTunes for Haiti relief.
- Dave Matthews Band performed their song "You and Me."
- Maxwell performed his hit single "Pretty Wings." Roberta Flack joined him on the stage for a version of her hit "Where Is The Love."

Taylor Swift's Grammy Performance
Taylor Swift won her first Grammy at the 2010 Awards but the talk of the media and blogs following the ceremony wasn't on her award winning albums and songs. It was all about her less than stellar performance on stage for the Grammy show. Swift performed in duet with Stevie Nicks. Her performance drew criticism to the point her label came forward with an official statement saying she is one of the best emotional singers and song writers.
