2010 CMT Music Awards Nominees were moved to a final stage with the announcement of the finalist in each award category on May 11, 2010. Laura Bell Bundy and Evan Farmer announced the Music Award nominees in an exclusive People.com video segment. The nominees were selected based on fan votes of the pre-nominee list. For the category of Video of the Year, the nominee list remains at the full list of ten nominees and the finalists will be announced at the beginning of the awards show. During the live televised CMT Music awards, fans will be able to vote for their favorite video of the year either by text message or though the CMT Web site. Laura Bell Bundy, who announced the nominees, is one of the newcomers to country music who made the finalist list for a music award and will be anxiously awaiting the winners announcement at the 2010 show.http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20367586,00.html

CMT Music Awards are held at the Nashville Bridgestone Arena and will be hosted this year by Kid Rock. The event will be held on June 9th and airs on CMT at 8pm EST/PT. Several of the nominees are already lined up as performers also. Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambertand Keith Urban among others have already been named as performers for the evening.
