When the first CMA for Music Video of the Year was given, Hank WIlliams, Jr. was the winner for his video of the song "All My Rowdy Friends Are Comin' Over Tonight". WIlliams won the first award in 1985, and was the winner again in 1987 and 1988. The three wins by Hank Williams Jr. is topped only by Brad Paisley who won this category in 2002, 2004, 2007 and 2008. The House That Built Me - Miranda Lambert
The 2010 CMA Music Video of the Year nominations contained two videos by Miranda Lambert. The House That Built Me is the a second hit single from the Revolution album. Lambert competed with herself and fiance Blake Shelton in this category and ultimately took home the award for "The House That Built Me."
White Liar - Miranda Lambert
White Liar is from the Revolution album and features a wedding scenario where the bride is telling the story via the song lyrics. Lambert sings of all the things she knows about her groom and his exploits with the females attending the wedding. The White Liar video won the 2010 Female Video of the Year award from CMT and the 2010 ACM Award for Video of the Year.
Hillbilly Bone - Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins
Blake Shelton released an album in 2010 with the title song Hillbilly Bone. The song featured an appearance by Trace Adkins performing with Shelton. The single won recognition at the 2010 ACM awards as the ACM Vocal Event of the Year and later won the CMT Collaborative Video of the Year.
Brad Paisley - Water
Brad Paisley performed the song Water at the 2010 ACM Awards event. The song was his 17th number one single and is found on the American Saturday Night CD. Paisley released a greatest hits album in November 2010 called Hits Alive.
