The 2010 American League Championship Series, or ALCS, was the second of three rounds in the 2010 MLB Playoffs. In the 2009 Major League Baseball season, the New York Yankees met the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the American League Championship Series. The Yankees defeated the Minnesota Twins in the American League Divisional Series while the Angels topped the Boston Red Sox to continue on.
