The 2009 Volvo XC60 is a compact sport utility vehicle that debuted at the 2008
Geneva Motor Show. The concept version was revealed a year earlier at the 2007
Detroit Auto Show. The XC60 features all wheel drive, traction control, a
Turbocharged T6 six cylinder engine with 281 horsepower, and it is smaller and less boxy than the
Volvo XC90. The XC60 also comes with a safety system for low speed driving that will automatically put on the brakes to avoid an impending accident. It will be available in the U.S. in the spring of 2009.
