The nominees for the 44th annual Academy of Country Music Awards were announced on the morning of February 11, 2009. The announcement was made by Julianne Hough, LeAnn Rimes, Kellie Pickler and Jessica Simpson at a press conference held at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
