The 2008 Vermont Primary was held on March 4, 2008. Vermont allocates 23 delegates to the 2008 Democratic Convention; 15 are pledged delegates chosen by primary voters and 8 are unpledged superdelegates who will align with a candidate at the convention. 17 delegates were also allocated for the Republicans. NBC News reported Barack Obama and John McCain, as the winners of their respective primaries.
