The 2008 Texas Primary was held on March 4, 2008. 126 delegates were at stake for the Democratic Party and 140 for the Republicans. A Democratic caucus held shortly after the primary polls close determined an additional 67 delegates. The winners were Hillary Clinton and John McCain.
