The 2008 Ohio Primary was held on March 4, 2008. 161 delegates were at stake for the Democratic Party, 141 were pledged and will be decided by primary voters; the remaining 20 were unpledged superdelegates. The Republicans vied for 88 delegates, with John McCain projected as the winner.
